Thin - Hard Formula is approximately the same viscosity as 30 wt. motor oil. It is easy to apply a thin, shellac-like clear coat that will cure in seconds when irradiated with sunlight or our UV flashlight. This product is a very durable aliphatic urethane which characteristically does not yellow with age.

Usage tip: Apply in shade. Irradiate with intense UV light for ONE SECOND. Wait 15 seconds. Irradiate again for one second. Wait. Complete with 30 full seconds UV light.

This product is an excellent tool for finishing the heads of home tied flys and the bodies of buzzers. It is very good quality and reasonably priced.

Hard as Nails

Listen I’m not pretend that I know a great deal about UV resins. However, this does seem to be a very good resin . And I coupled this purchase with the upavonflyfishing UV led torch. They work well together. You can use less expensive resins but I don’t think they cure as good as the Solarez. At the end of the day you won’t get something for nothing. Better, I think, to pay just a little extra and get something that will give you a better fly with less hassle and more feel good factor that you are using half tidy gear.
