Rod ruler and fish measure.⁸

My intention was to stick one on my landing net handle and one on a rod butt and then varnish over them afterwards. I went to unpeal both measures at the end of the tape and found they were both split for several inches lengthwise. I could not use them. I couldn't be be bothered to return them so I through in my waste bin, obviously I wasn't happy!

Fly Rod Ruler

I was surprised just how easy it was to apply it to my 3# trout rod.
It looks very robust through I won’t be using it until the new season.
