The HANÁK Superb GTR2 is a limited-edition, ultra-modern fly rod series created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of HANÁK Competition. Built in Korea using premium Japanese TORAYCA T1100G carbon and Hexagon Graphene+ from Great Britain, these rods deliver exceptional performance, sensitivity and control for technical fly fishing.

Designed and tested by world-class competition anglers, the GTR2 features a revolutionary 4+1 twin-tip design: a four-piece rod supplied with two interchangeable tips. One is a standard hollow tip, while the second is an ultra-sensitive Solid Tip with a fine full-carbon insert, ideal for light tippets, small flies and delicate presentations.

The rods are up to 30g lighter than conventional models, using high-quality lightweight components including black anti-tangle titanium SIC stripping guides and durable hard chrome single-leg guides. The final three guides on each tip are angled at 45° to reduce leader wrap and make untangling easier.

A carbon handle improves feel, bite detection and fly control, while the unpainted matte grey blank reduces glare and helps avoid spooking wary fish. The blank is left unsanded and unpainted to maximise performance and reduce leader stick, especially in wet conditions.

Each rod is supplied in a rigid protective tube with separate compartments for each section.
